When you open a StatusReach campaign link, before taking you to the advertiser, we:
- Set one cookie of our own (
sr_v), which lasts [COOKIE LIFETIME, proposal: 30 days], so that if you open the link again we count you only once. - Read technical details of your device and connection (type of browser and device, screen, language, IP address) to recognise repeat visits and automated traffic. We store them only in an irreversibly scrambled form.
- Record that the visit happened, for which campaign and which publisher, and when.
We do this only to count unique visits and prevent fraud, which is necessary for the service the publisher and the advertiser have agreed with us. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies from other companies on this page, we do not build a profile of you and we do not share these details with the advertiser.
After this step you go to the advertiser's website, which has its own privacy policy and may use its own cookies.
You can delete the cookie from your browser settings at any time; your visit may then count again only if it passes our fraud checks.
